Thank you to both our Litchfield area and Farmington share members. We hope you were able to do some great canning and preserving this season with all the produce!
Since writing at the beginning of August, we completed eight more weeks of CSA deliveries. Lots of tomatoes, kale, lettuce, broccoli, cucumbers, onions, beets, carrots, potatoes, cabbage, eggplants, bok choy, apples, parsley, peppers, and watermelon. We estimate that these last eight deliveries were valued at $184. When added to the $250 value of the previous twelve weeks, the total value of the summer CSA deliveries came out to $434. This is a bonus of $135 from the selling price per share of $299.
Thank you to both our Litchfield area and Farmington share members. We hope you were able to do some great canning and preserving this season with all the produce!

Through two days of massive rain showers and following days of heat, they kept the sheep happy, bees fed, chickens safe, and gardens watered. Not to mention putting together everyone's CSA shares. Lots of picking, processing, and packaging.
